A database is a structured
collection of records or data that is stored in a computer
system. It is arranged in such a way, that the items are
individually accessible. Many databases are a collection
of copyright works, such as a database of poetry from the
last fifty years where each poem will also be protected
by copyright.
A trademark also known as
brand name is a word, phrase, symbol or design that identifies
and distinguishes the source of the goods of one party from
those of others. Trade mark is used as a marketing tool so
that customers can recognise any individual’s/any party’s
products or services.
